Air Import Process
Entry Noting:
- Goods arrive at airport.
- MRL receives Shipment Pre-alert from customer by mail. Invoice, Packing List, MAWB, HAWB (if), Certificate of Origin (Co0) are attached with the mail.
- MRL collects all supporting documents from customer after receiving mail.
- MRL to sort out documents on the basis of LC, LCA, IP/EP etc.
- MRL submits manual Bill of entry to the customs. Then we receive computerized Bill of entry from customs where all information‘s are given.
Examination:
It is mandatory for all shipment to do examination in order to match goods that was declared for shipping by the customer.
Assessment:
MRL submits the document to customs as per HS code for approval. Customs approves the file if necessary information are correct. if not, they’ll correct it and then approve. Mentioned duty is then to be paid by importer which is mentioned on Assessment paper.
Delivery:
After paying duty amount to customs, we will release the shipment from Biman warehouse.
